My 2017 DIY Calendar

Last year, I had planned on making a calendar that I would sell and give as gifts to family and friends.  Because I was not very good in calligraphy or watercolor and with zero knowledge of Photoshop, I failed.  Anyway, I decided to just go ahead and make a calendar for myself in the best way I could, stamping!

The great thing about this project is that I used materials that I already had at home.  I bought the jotter pad from National Bookstore, the Concord & 9th script stamp set and Memento ink pad from Lasting Impression.

I decided on just doing quotes in a black and white color scheme to make it simple yet classy.

While I didn’t spend any money on this project, it did cost me 2 hours to make.    So, why did I go through the trouble of spending precious time on a project when I could just buy any calendar from the bookstore in a jiffy?  I love how it’s personal.  I specifically chose quotes that matter a great deal to me.  Every time I look at the monthly calendar, I feel inspired and motivated, no matter what circumstances I am in.

Have a great year ahead, everyone! 🙂
