A Sticky Situation – Organizing My Sticker Collection

Stickers have always been one of my neglected craft materials because I’ve always been afraid to use them.  I would think they are “too pretty to use” or that “they might run out”.  Lately, I’ve been using them a lot in my art journaling and creative planning so I decided to put them all together in one place to keep them organised, thus easier to use when crafting.  I went through all my scrapbook stuff and gathered all my stickers together.

A beautiful mess

Once I had them all scattered on the floor, I realized that they could be lumped into categories: planner, clear, label, illustrations, phrase and alphabet.  I’m putting them by category in  an A5 sized clear book, very handy to bring anywhere (an idea I got from my art titas, Rianne and Lai.)

My new addiction: Alphabet Stickers

I ran into a bit of a problem when I saw that I had stickers that would not fit into the A5 clear book because they were 6 x 12.  I decided to just separate these sticker sets and place them in an A4 clear book instead.

It’s so much easier to use my stickers now because I just need to take my A5 clear book with me whenever I journal.  Seeing all my stickers at one glance gives me a picture of how much I have already accumulated.  I’ve trained myself to think that going beyond one A5 clear book for stickers would be hoarding already.

How about you? How do you store your stickers?
